Dress care tips
Practice dancewear: Our practice dress without any decoration can be washed by machine with temperature below 40 degrees. Please avoid washing it mixed with your own white or light colour clothes for the first time. It might be slightly colour-off for the first clean. If you have more time and would like to take good care of your dress, you can wash it by hands with mild soap in cold water to keep it in good condition longer.
Competition costumes: Most of our competition ballroom and Latin dresses are fully decorated with sequins/beads/feather or with Classic Crystals or CRYSTALLIZED™ -
Swarovski Elements. We have used special product to glue those stones on the dress. If possible, just spot-clean by brush when necessary, and NEVER WASH them to keep the best condition of dress.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN and DO NOT MACHINE WASH your dresses, because it can easily damage the finish on the rhinestones and dissolve the glue completely.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR HAND WASH your FRINGES PLAIN DRESSES, because it can damange the good condition of your fringe quality, and also cause colour off.
If your dress really starts to smell a little ripe, turn the entire costume inside out and HAND WASH ONLY THE BODYSUIT in cold water and mild soft soap, and then hang to dry without twisting the dress.
Keep your dress in a dry place. If it is in a plastic protection bag, please unzip it to allow air circulation and prevent mildew.
You can iron your dress from the bodysuit inside to remove the wrinkles at medium temperature, but do not iron it with very high temperature directly. It might burn the fabric due to our dresses are mostly made by synthetic materials.
You can also hang your dress in the bathroom while you take a hot shower. This can help to remove the wrinkles of the dress easily.
